Welcome to The Write Stuff! I’m Nicole. Not only have I been a lifelong reader, but I’ve also worked in or adjacent to publishing for over 20 years. I have a BFA in Writing, Literature, and Publishing from Emerson College. I also have an MLS from Pratt Institute. 

One of my first jobs was as a copyeditor for such magazines as Publishers Weekly, Library Journal, and School Library Journal. After a stint in Editorial for a NYC book publisher, I decided to become a librarian and educator. It brings me great joy to share my love of books with young people, helping them along their journey to become lifelong readers. 

And then the pandemic happened. Like so many other people, I reevaluated my priorities and what was important in life. I realized even though I loved being a librarian, I missed the world of publishing. And with that, the idea for The Write Stuff was born. I’m so excited to get back to my roots, and it would be my pleasure to help your dreams come to fruition.
